Teresa Patitucci, PhD is an Associate Professor of Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Anatomy at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a fulltime educator with a focus on teaching the anatomical sciences to Medical and Graduate students. She conducts educational research in the anatomical sciences which includes using reflective practice to develop professionalism skills, analyzing in-class teaching paradigms, and evaluating alternative assessment methods.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD) is a complex disease that requires interprofessional practice and collaboration. Many medical schools do not provide interdisciplinary education on TMD or provide education specifically to medical students only. In collaboration with Marquette University, medical and dental students came together to learn about TMD and how to work in an interprofessional collaborative setting to treat TMD.
