Leveraging Interprofessional Leadership to Advance Outcomes: AIHC Mentoring Program Poster Session

Please join us for this inaugural poster session featuring presentations by the 2023-2024 cohort of the AIHC Mentoring Program. Presentations address curricular innovation and integration, the role of coaching, leadership of multi-campus initiatives, development of IPE in single-profession institutions, academic-community partnerships, institutional and faculty culture, sustainability, mobility, and institutional support.

The AIHC Mentoring Program is a free, year-long, virtual interprofessional faculty peer mentoring program that fosters learning together to advance and sustain IPE. Health and social care faculty across rank and experience levels with current AIHC membership are eligible to participate. Past mentees are invited to serve as mentors with subsequent cohorts. This program is a collaboration between the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative and National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. Applications are now open for the 2024-2025 AIHC Mentoring Program. 

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Describe strategies to advance IPE in single-profession and multi-campus settings.
• Identify factors that foster and hinder IPE program sustainability.
• Explain leadership styles and methods that advance IPE.
