Megan Brelage Kroh, PharmD was an Academic Fellow at the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy from 2022 - 2024. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University College of Pharmacy in May of 2022. Her interests include interprofessional practice and education, chronic disease state management, and safe medication use of over-the-counter products. In addition to the fellowship, she practiced at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is pursuing her Master of Public Health. Following the fellowship, she practices ambulatory pharmacy at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana in their anticoagulation clinics.

Interprofessional education (IPE) is required in most health professional programs, and simulation-enhanced IPE (Sim-IPE) is one method for developing interprofessional competencies in learners. Additionally, teaching about social determinants of health and advancing health equity are required in many accreditation and curricular standards.
