Lisa Sheikovitz is an instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Seton Hall University in Nutley, NJ. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Higher Education, Leadership and Management. She has 13 years of experience working in the clinic as an occupational therapist and utilizes this unique perspective to bridge the gap between didactic learning and clinical skills. Her research interests include interprofessional education and the use of simulation to improve clinical competence for healthcare graduate students. She has presented at several national conferences on topics including infusing simulation into the curriculum and development of a self-efficacy of clinical competence scale.
