Dr. Anthony Breitbach is a Professor, Certified Athletic Trainer and Director of Interprofessional Education at Saint Louis University. He is an Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP) Fellow and chairs their Interprofessional Committee as well as representing them on Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Core Competencies Revision Work Group where he served as an author for the 3 rd Edition of the IPEC Core Competencies in 2023. Dr. Breitbach is a Distinguished Fellow and serves as President-Elect of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) after serving as the inaugural Chair of the NAP Athletic Training Academy. He helps lead the Communications Team for Interprofessional.Global; as well as serving on the International Committee of the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) and the Academic Institutions Committee of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy. Dr. Breitbach is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Interprofessional Care, Frontiers in Medicine and Frontiers in Public Health Education and Promotion. He is President-Elect of the Alpha Eta Honor Society and is a Peer Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission.
