Undi Hoffler, PhD

Dr. Undi Hoffler is a co-lead for the HRSA funded Stress First Aid Program at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). She has nearly 20 years of experience conducting research at in toxicology and pharmacology through the National Institutes of Health and Food and Drug Administration. She is currently the Director of Office of Research Compliance and Technology Transfer (ORCTT) at NCCU. She also leads the Research Capacity Core and co-leads the Compliance and Innovation Unit through NCCU’s Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI) grant. Dr. Hoffler also collaborates on environmental justice projects and facilitates research connections through the Duke-NCCU Bridging Office, where she works on community engagement and capacity building.

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

Participants will learn the basics of the Stress First Aid (SFA) for Healthcare Workers and its application among the current and future healthcare workforce. Specifically, grantees from the Health Resources and Services Administration initiatives at Duke University, North Carolina Central University, and the University of Virginia will describe their initiatives focused on its delivery for health professions students and clinicians.
