Tina Antill Keener, PhD, CPNP, CNE, RN, is an Associate Professor at West Virginia University in the School of Nursing. She is a certified nurse educator and strives to engage and promote student learning through interactive teaching strategies, including simulation. Her research focuses on developing and implementing resiliency and compassionate care interventions to improve health outcomes.

This seminar will be an interactive workshop in which participants will engage with an innovative learning experience developed to prepare learners for teamwork, communication, and collaboration in healthcare settings. Participants will employ perspective-taking as they watch a video recording of Sorrel King telling Josie’s Story and share the perspective through roleplay during debriefing.
