Timothy Coursen has produced video programming professionally since 1980 and has focused primarily on the creation of educational programming and the development of media-based learning environments. His master’s research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Curriculum and Instruction focused on the development of innovative applications of video in teaching and learning environments and the uses of video-narratives in qualitative research studies. With every new project he combines his technical experience in the development and creation of media-based programming with his philosophy of inclusive educational instruction.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
The Interprofessional Education Collaborative defines four core competencies for interprofessional collaborative practice (ICP): 1) Roles and Responsibilities, 2) Values and Ethics, 3) Teams and Teamwork, and 4) Communication. The goal of ICP is to improve the health of persons and populations across the continuum of care. Healthcare teams working together can achieve the Quintuple Aim of Improved Patient Experience, Better Health Outcomes, Lower Healthcare Costs, Clinician Well-Being, and Health Equity.
