Dr. Terri Fowler is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Practice, Innovative Partnerships, and Advocacy at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing. Her area of practice and expertise is in interprofessional practice and education, and chronic disease management in underserved populations. She is the clinical director of an interprofessional free clinic providing primary care and chronic disease management to uninsured individuals. Dr. Fowler leads grants and practice initiatives to support the implementation of interprofessional models of care to increase access to care, improve health outcomes, and facilitate student clinical learning.
