Sarah is an Assistant Professor teaching at Metro State University, primarily in the DNP program. Previously, she taught at St. Catherine University in their MSN Entry Level program, specializing in simulation and interprofessional education. Sarah's clinical practice began at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in the Cardiac and Renal Unit and the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. During the summer, Sarah volunteers as a nurse at YMCA Camp Icaghowan and coordinates the student nurse internship program between the YMCA of the North overnight camps and St. Kate's.

This Lightning Talk will discuss how best practices in simulation were utilized to develop an interprofessional Code Blue simulation to meet the learning objectives for four different healthcare disciplines, along with learning objectives for interprofessional practice. Faculty from each of the four disciplines met to identify discipline-specific and interprofessional learning objectives and design a pre-brief, simulation scenario, and debrief to meet those objectives for all students.
