Dr. Sara Migliarese is a tenured professor and assistant chair in the Department of Physical Therapy at Winston-Salem State University. She serves as the director of the WSSU Novant Health Clinical Neurologic Residency program and the MSFit multidisciplinary pro bono clinic. Dr. Migliarese received the bachelor’s degree in biology (1983) and the Master Physical Therapy (1985) from Texas Woman’s University. In 2009, she obtained the Ph.D. in Exercise Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has practiced as a physical therapist for 39 years.
