Phil Rodgers, an associate professor at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, specializes in interprofessional education and diabetes management. He is Vice Chair of Education for the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education, teaches multiple courses, and advises several student organizations. A fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Rodgers holds a B.S. in Pharmacy and Pharm.D. from UNC Chapel Hill, with a residency in ambulatory care at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
This session will present and discuss the findings from focus groups comprising preceptors and regional practice leaders, aimed at identifying essential interprofessional education topics for practicing preceptors. Four focus groups were conducted with six education and clinical practitioners across the state and this session will explore and deliberate on the themes that emerged from focus group findings.
