Nichole Valenzuela, MS, serves as the Assistant Director for Immersions and Interprofessional Education at Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Nichole leads the development, operation, and evaluation of SPHTM’s immersion and interprofessional (IPE) programs. She has worked collaboratively to design innovative IPE modules and curricula, that introduces the Fundamentals of Interprofessional Collaboration and Practice to public health students. She is currently focused and working on the development and implementation of an IPE Scholars Program. Her commitment to fostering interprofessional collaboration and educational excellence is evident in her leadership and background in strategic program development.
