Dr. Kennie-Kaulbach is an Assistant Professor in the Experiential Education Program- College of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health, Dalhousie University. She is responsible for developing curriculum content for clinical placements and overseeing a program of educational research. Her research interests in pharmacy education include exploring professional identity formation in pharmacy students and student’s contribution to practice during clinical placements.
Before moving to the Experiential Education program, Natalie had been a pharmacist in the collaborative primary care team setting for over 25 years. Natalie has also been involved in health services research, including pharmacy practice change, pharmacist prescribing and deprescribing.

Purpose: Interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP), occurs when health professions work collaboratively with the goal of improved quality of care and services. IPCP is reported to enhance patient outcomes and care providers’ professional and workplace satisfaction, yet there exist myriad challenges to enacting it.
