Nancy Smith, PT, DPT, PhD is a Professor and Director of the Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Winston Salem State University. She has been a physical therapist for 24 years and has been in academia for 14 years. She has conducted multiple IPE sessions and has published IPE research related to helping students develop an understanding of their roles and responsibilities and teamwork with her colleagues.
