Dr. Tobey-Moore has a passion for multimodal pain therapy and helping patients collaboratively manage their pain conditions. In 2020, she became faculty in the Center for Health Services Research at the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute and has written several research grants for academic detailing education on evidence-based pain management and a naloxone education train-the-trainer grant. Currently, Dr. Tobey-Moore treats within the Interventional Pain Management Clinic at The Orthopedic and Spine Hospital. She is the Clinic Director for a HRSA-sponsored Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program grant within the Institute on Aging and an Educator for three SAMHSA grants.

Education regarding best practices managing health and disease of older adults is needed. Escape rooms are an effective Sim-IPE strategy. We describe a workshop-based peer-learning experience using a workbook where interprofessional geriatric-focused scholars are preceptored to create and deliver an educational escape room focused on the 4Ms of Age Friendly Healthcare (AFHC), ie what Matters, Medication, Mentation, Mobility.
