Kimberly Beran-Shepler is passionate about Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Practice. She has presented at several IPE conferences: Collaborating Across Borders (CAB), National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education’s NEXUS Summit, National Academies of Practice (NAP) Annual Meeting and World Congress on Continuing Professional Development. She is currently a Physical Therapy representative for IPEC, a Distinguished Fellow in the NAP and the founding Chair for the Academy of Education, Interprofessional Education and Practice Specialty Interest Group (IPEP SIG). She is an assistant professor at Creighton University and is the IPE Passport Director, the IPE curriculum for all health science students.

The objective of this national study was to examine the interprofessional education (IPE) curricula and assessment methods in health profession colleges/schools and academic health centers. A 55.6% response rate was obtained (n=69). Data was analyzed descriptively with frequency counts and means as appropriate. The open-ended questions were analyzed by three researchers using a qualitative content analysis process.
