Many studies of educational activities are inherently focused on results gathered from surveys and performance data of the learner. However, the impact of participation in educational activities, particularly those involving interprofessional practice and education on the facilitator, should not be ignored. This seminar will be an interactive workshop in which participants will engage with an innovative learning experience developed to prepare learners for teamwork, communication, and collaboration in healthcare settings. Participants will employ perspective-taking as they watch a video recording of Sorrel King telling Josie’s Story and share the perspective through roleplay during debriefing. After attending this seminar, participants will be able to:
-Describe the perception of power given their role in the simulation
-Discuss how power dynamics may or may not influence their decision making/…
