Kaitlyn Hawley, BEd, Academic Program Specalist, University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education (UW CIPE). Joining UW CIPE in July 2022, Kaitlyn brings with her 7 years of experience teaching eight and a growing up as the daughter of two health professionals. During her time with UW CIPE she has had the opportunity to be able to work with and learn from so many IPE leaders on campus as well as larger IPE community. Her focus both as a teacher and now as an Academic Program Specalist wtih UW CIPE is student learning. Her current role at UW CIPE has now expanded as those student learning outcomes translate into improved patient outcomes as driven by IPE and the Quintuple Aim.

The Healthy Aging Initiative was born through the initial funding through the CDC-funded Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Disease Project in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Health. This funding created, and now supports the Interprofessional Learning Community Caregiving Badge (IPL Badge).
