Jessica Jawhar is a second year osteopathic medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. She was born and raised in Norwood, MA and her family is from Lebanon. She is bilingual in English and Arabic. She is a first generation college student and student doctor. She enjoys kickboxing, reading, and crocheting as hobbies. She is currently active in gaining more interprofessional education and experiences to help her become a better well-rounded physician.

Poster presentation illustrating effective collaboration in an interprofessional healthcare team, via telehealth. Featuring students from various health disciplines, this simulation involved understanding professional roles and responsibilities, communicating openly and respectfully, establishing common goals, respecting diversity, sharing knowledge and expertise, and developing a patient-centered care plan through IP collaboration.
