Giorgi Morrone is a third-year occupational therapy student at West Virginia University (WVU). She has been one of the student leaders of WVoice: A Health Science Podcast. She helped develop the idea of using a podcast for individuals in marginalized groups to share their stories. Her advisor, Dr. Greenfield, helped her follow through with this idea and recruit an interprofessional student team to execute the plan. She continues to research, participate in the interviewing process, transform the interview into a podcast, and post the podcasts on different platforms.

A team of students in the fields of occupational therapy (2), pharmacy (1), nursing (1), and public health (1) have worked to develop a podcast called WVoice: A Health Sciences Podcast. Our focus is sharing the voices of people in WV about their healthcare experiences.
