Firas Hikmat is a rising fourth-year medical student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health who has significant interest in interprofessional education and applications. Firas believes that Interprofessional practices will further enhance his exposure to individuals from different professions and better equip him with the tools and resources necessary to be a good physician who can advocate for his patients while simultaneously integrating interdisciplinary innovative projects within the healthcare setting.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education (UW CIPE) Interprofessional Education (IPE) Clinical & Community Placement Experience aims to enhance IPE learning during students' clinical and community placements by providing tools for students, instructors, and preceptors to integrate IPE intentionally.
