Erica Ottis serves as Associate Dean for the UMKC School of Pharmacy at MU. Her scholarly interest centers on development of interprofessional experiences and interprofessional team development and she has been funded by the Josiah Macy Foundation and HRSA for work in these areas. She serves as the Interprofessional Lead for the School of Pharmacy and as coordinator for the University of Missouri interprofessional curriculum in collaboration with Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Professions. Erica has twice won Preceptor of the Year and the UM System Presidents award for Intercampus Collaboration with partners from MU Medicine and Nursing.

Background: While interprofessional curricular activities are required by most health professions programs, learners are often looking for additional experiences to develop as an interprofessional team-member.
