Cynthia A. Yered, DMD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health & Community Service at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). She is the Director of the Community Service Learning Externship Program, the Deputy Director of Global Community Service Learning and provides patient care in a general dental practice. Dr. Yered earned her dental degree from TUSDM. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Massachusetts. Dr. Yered has extensive experience in community-based dental education. She is dedicated to teaching and mentoring the next generation of pre-doctoral students through didactics, experiential learning, and research with a focus on underserved and vulnerable patient populations.
