Chris Sha is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF and faculty within the EdPACT program. He is a primary care provider, telemedicine urgent care provider, and Site Director of the year long longitudinal rotation in primary care for medical students at the SFVA. He is interested in teaching mindfulness & meditation to trainees and faculty, motivational interviewing, as well as relationship centered communication skills. He is also interested in developing high quality curriculum for trainees around issues of equity in healthcare.

This lightening talk describes a longitudinal diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) curriculum for interprofessional primary care learners training at the San Francisco VA Healthcare Center. DEIB is often taught in a single or stand-alone session, yet DEIB encompasses topics that require ongoing training and practice to develop deeper knowledge, skills, and abilities.
