Christina is a Project Coordinator in the Office of Interdisciplinary Programs under the COM HRSA TRU-OK grant. Christina is enrolled in the MSW program at OU with an anticipated graduation in 2024. She previously completed her BA in Biology at the University of Hawai‘i. Christina has been at OUHSC for 5 years, most recently working in Data Management Operations with the Clinical Trials Office at the Stephenson Cancer Center. Christina’s research interests include the relationship between health and environmental sciences, and the role of interprofessional teams and health sciences education programs to improve project outcomes.

The Unity@Keys clinic was conceptualized to meet the nursing, rehabilitation, and social needs of people with an ongoing, chronic condition such as aphasia. To accomplish this, the founding team needed to reimagine the structure of the preexisting student-run clinics. Allied health disciplines require longer times for holistic evaluation and intervention, as well as extended time/frequency of visits for follow-up.
