Dr. Brittany Linton, PhD is the Assistant Chief of Psychology Services for Integrated Health at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, and formally served within the San Francisco VA EdPACT program as the Associate Director for Interprofessional Healthcare Learning. As a licensed psychologist focused on health psychology and behavioral medicine approaches, Dr. Linton's professional work spans teaching, research, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical experience related to DEIB in healthcare for patients and providers, with improving access for underserved and diverse populations, a improving patient experience, and coaching to improve interdisciplinary team communication and operations.

This lightening talk describes a longitudinal diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) curriculum for interprofessional primary care learners training at the San Francisco VA Healthcare Center. DEIB is often taught in a single or stand-alone session, yet DEIB encompasses topics that require ongoing training and practice to develop deeper knowledge, skills, and abilities.
