Ashley Workman has been an OSF mission partner for 14 years, starting her career as an RN in the PICU, then serving as an advanced practice provider for the last seven years in the OSF INI Headache and Craniofacial Pain Clinic. In the last year, she transitioned into a dual role and splits her time between the headache clinic and the OSF APP education department, working as an APP clinical educator. Ashley received her MSN, FNP from Illinois State University. She is a member of the American Headache Society and the International Headache Society. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

A large, system-based, accredited transition-to-practice program for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), known as the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship, currently operates six specialty tracks, including adult critical care, primary care, urgent care, pediatric critical care (PICU), neonatal critical care (NICU), and general pediatrics.
