My interest in research began prior to my admission to WVU, in fact their R1 status drove me to pick the school at the time. When I transitioned from Biochemistry to Nursing I decided that I wanted to continue to do research. I believe that I have gained a multitude of valuable skills that cannot be developed in the classroom, and look forward to each new opportunity to conduct research that arises.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
A team of students in the fields of occupational therapy (2), pharmacy (1), nursing (1), and public health (1) have worked to develop a podcast called WVoice: A Health Sciences Podcast. Our focus is sharing the voices of people in WV about their healthcare experiences.
