Amanda has been a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care for the OSF Healthcare System in Peoria, IL for over 5 years. Prior to her becoming a nurse practitioner, she enjoyed her time as a medical/surgical RN for OSF for 5 years. Presently, Amanda splits her time between caring for patients at the clinic and working as an APP Clinical Education Specialist for OSF, which entails developing and facilitating a number of programs, including new APP Orientation, Preceptor Development Program, Regional Skills Days, APP and Primary Care Symposiums and the APP Fellowship Program.

A large, system-based, accredited transition-to-practice program for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), known as the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship, currently operates six specialty tracks, including adult critical care, primary care, urgent care, pediatric critical care (PICU), neonatal critical care (NICU), and general pediatrics.
