Exploring Personal Wellbeing, Mindfully

This experiential and interactive session will offer information and inspiration to enhance personal wellbeing. The University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing’s Wellbeing Model will be highlighted and practical, everyday strategies for mitigating the effects of stress will be discussed. Mindfulness will be presented as both an innate capacity and an evidence-based resource for strengthening wellbeing and resilience. Participants will be guided through a brief mindfulness meditation and leave the session with practical tips for incorporating mindfulness and wellbeing into their everyday activities, allowing them to deal with life’s inevitable challenges and stressors with greater ease and resilience.
