Dr. Zhang is the associate professor and clerkship director of Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Zhang received his Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) in 2023. He was elected as the Co-Chair of the Council of Program Directors in Emergency Medicine Advising Student Committee (CORD ASCEM) based on his leadership, experience, and research in student advising. His academic interest include gamification, implicit bias, simulation, medical student advising, and interprofessional education.

Background: Microaggressions are commonplace indignities that communicate negative slights or insults against a particular group of people.
