Sylvia Langlois is an Associate Professor, Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Temerty Faculty of Medicine and Associate Director, Academics, Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare and Education, University of Toronto. She is also Co-Editor (shared role) of the Journal of Interprofessional Practice and Education. In her Associate Director role she is responsible for the IPE curriculum for over 4500 students from eleven health and social science programs. Her research interests include patient engagement in IPE, virtual teams, and competency development.

Introduction: While poetry has been used extensively as a reflective tool in educational settings, limited research exists on educators creating poetry based on their professional and personal experiences to teach interprofessional learners complex topics.
