Dr. Shawn Taylor is a Chair and Professor of Pharmacy at Wingate University School of Pharmacy. She is a clinical pharmacist practitioner serving at the Appalachian Mountain Health in Asheville, NC. She serves as the president of The Community Alliance of Guachipilincito Executive Board. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina and completed a postdoctoral residency at the VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.

Background: Honduras is classified as a middle-income country with rural areas that lack basic healthcare services.
