Dr. Batenhorst’s career in Paramedicine clinically was primarily emergent 911 response in large urban areas such as Lincoln, Nebraska; Orlando, Florida; and Johnson County, Kansas. Dr. Batenhorst earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Leadership Studies from Bellevue University, a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Nebraska Wesleyan University, and a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. Dr. Batenhorst serves as the Director of Paramedicine Education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

An interprofessional escape room activity teaches teamwork through collaboration with other health professionals while allowing students to gain knowledge in a gamified environment. This presentation reviews the development and implementation of an escape room for nurse practitioner and paramedicine students.
