Dr. Neba, PharmD, BCACP currently works as an assistant professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and her clinical practice site is at Baylor Community Care Clinic where she specializes in drug therapy management for chronic diseases. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Idaho State University College of Pharmacy in 2016. Upon graduation, she completed a PGY1 ambulatory care focused residency at Baylor Scott and White Health in Dallas, TX. She went on to pursue a PGY2 in ambulatory care at Kaiser Permanente in Denver, CO. After finishing residency, she worked at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System in Tyler Texas as a clinical pharmacy specialist, with a focus in outpatient cardiology and ambulatory care. Her teaching and scholarly interests include pain management, and Social Determinants of Health.

Description: Often the focus of innovation and improvement in the field of IPE targets the student and patient/community experience, overlooking the enabling or inhibiting factors of the faculty and preceptors charged with building said cultures for interprofessional education and/or interprofessional collaborative practice.
