Quentin Conkle, PhD is an Assistant Professor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in the College of Health Professions. He has a Masters in Health Professions Education and a PhD in Interprofessional Healthcare Studies (IPHS). Dr. Conkle also serves as the multimodal learning experience designer in addition to teaching ADA compliance, course development, curriculum design, instructional design, interprofessional education and practice, cultural competency, assessment development, and academic technology. Dr. Conkle's research focus is on the patient’s perspective in interprofessional healthcare. Dr. Conkle has presented at national conferences focal to interprofessional collaborative practice from the patient perspective.

Background:Current models of interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) appear to focus on the patient as the object of care despite the attempt for inclusion.
