Dr. Elliott is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Associate Chair of Community Health Sciences at the Boston University School of Public Health. She is dedicated to training public health practitioners and is an award-winning educator teaching graduate courses in health behavior theory, maternal child and adolescent health, program management, and leadership. Dr. Elliott is the Principal Investigator of the School Health Institute for Education and Leadership Development (SHIELD) which provides clinical, management, and leadership programs that prepare school nurses and health professionals to serve as school health leaders, provide equitable care, and build effective student health services systems.
