Monica Arrigo, PT, DPT, is an instructor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions (IHP), Boston, MA. She also maintains a clinical position at Spaulding Hospital Cambridge with expertise in providing care for Oncology and Complex Medical long-term acute care patient populations. Her faculty role focuses on the DPT clinical education curriculum, and she has developed a path of scholarship in the area of teaching and learning to develop the affective domain of DPT students. She has collaborated with Mike Boutin to integrate Balint groups within DPT clinical education at IHP and with both Mike Boutin and Midge Hobbs to provide interprofessional Balint groups for IHP faculty and staff.
