Mitchell Becker is a fourth-year medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology Medical Sciences with a minor in Nutrition at the University of New England. As an aspiring Family Medicine physician, he aims to integrate his knowledge of nutrition into his medical practice to help patients prevent and manage chronic diseases, fostering a holistic approach to healthcare that empowers individuals to achieve optimal health.

Interprofessional education (IPE) in healthcare training strives to create a collaborative healthcare workforce for the betterment of patient care. One of the aims of IPE experiences is to challenge healthcare hierarchies, with the focus being on fluid leadership amongst healthcare team members.
