Michael Anders, PhD, MPH, is Associate Professor of Assessment and Evaluation in the Division of Academic Affairs, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Anders coordinates the UAMS Teaching Scholars program, a longitudinal, high-caliber professional development program, in which he mentors faculty in educational research projects. He also serves as the evaluator for three grants funded by the National Institutes for Health. Previously, he served as the Director of the UAMS Simulation Center, where he facilitated simulations for students, medical residents, faculty, and clinical staff. Dr. Anders helped plan, facilitate, and evaluate the interprofessional research advocacy simulation.
