Mathumesa Muhunthan is an educator and researcher in the field of nursing. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University, Mathumesa went on to complete her Master of Nursing degree at the University of Toronto in 2021. She is pursuing a PhD in nursing. Mathumesa is committed to continuous learning and development in the nursing field, and is involved in various research projects focusing on nursing education, patient safety, quality improvement, and risk management. Introduction: While poetry has been used extensively as a reflective tool in educational settings, limited research exists on educators creating poetry based on their professional and personal experiences to teach interprofessional learners complex topics.
