Linh-Chi Ho is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she is also working towards a Master of Public Health with a focus in Health Behavior and Health Education. She is a member of the Honors in Research Track. She is from Sulphur Rick, Arkansas and is an alumnus of Arkansas State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and University Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Spanish. She is planning to pursue pediatrics and has special interests in nursery and global health.

Background: Depression is more prevalent in Hispanic populations living in the U.S., with longer treatment duration, higher rates of relapse and medication non-adherence, and less initiation of depression treatment compared to non-Latino white populations. It has been shown that decreased stigma is associated with increased utilization of mental health resources.
