My name is Khalila Campbell-Fagan, I am an incoming fourth year nursing student at Toronto Metropolitan University who enjoys doing research. I am a clinical extern on a postpartum unit and at camh on a forensics unit. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with the bladder cancer awareness society. I was an award recipient of the Faculty of Community Health Services Award at Toronto Metropolitan University. I am a student liaison for the RNAO's nursing research interest group ans the Canadian Nursing Student Association. In the future I plan to pursue a master's degree and continue my research journey.

Introduction
Collaborative care requires healthcare professionals (HCPs) to combine their efforts with patients during care delivery and planning. Collaborative care cannot be discussed without patients as team members sharing their expertise of living with and managing their condition 24/7 in the community. While some work has been done to advance this view, further clarity is required on how patient roles on teams can be successfully enacted.
Background: A Constructivist Grounded Theory by Metersky et al. (2021) explored patient roles on interprofessional teams in primary care in Canada.…
