Dr Karpa is a Professor in the Department of Medical Education and Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. Nationally, she has served on taskforces with the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) as well as the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC). She is a Josiah Macy Faculty Scholar and has been developing and implementing Interprofessional Education/Practice activities for learners for more than a decade.

This seminar is designed to share the efforts of five Big 10 Universities in Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in advancing interprofessional education (IPE) in the clinical learning environment (CLE), with the intent to spur application and creativity across institutions nationally.
