Kari is a graduate of Ithaca College and has practiced in a multitude of settings, including United Cerebral Palsy in Brooklyn, The New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, traveling Physical Therapy & outpatient pediatrics at Danbury Hospital. She has been a provider through Early Intervention for more than 20 years. In 2002, she earned her Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialty. Kari continues her private pediatric practice as the sole proprietor of KBL Pediatric Physical Therapy. Kari is licensed in Connecticut & New York. Kari has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1987.

International service learning (ISL) is a pedagogy suggested to produce “high impact” learning and outcomes for students and the community by combining community service with structured learning objectives, preparation, and reflection.
