Kara Lobban, (BSDH, RDH, CTTS) Kara is a graduate of at WVU School of Dentistry's Department of Dental hygiene, where she received her BSDH in May 2024. She has a passion for teamwork and interprofessional collaboration that promotes comprehensive patient-based care. She was recently a member of the WVU School of Dentistry’s wellness committee as well as the Health Science Center Advisory committee made up of multiple professional disciplines at WVU. She received the 2024 Student Excellence Award in Interprofessional Education with her team research, "5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish to Prevent Caries in Pediatric Oncology Patients Provider Training."
