Jamie Park graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2009 with a Master of Physician Assistance Studies. Previously, she earned a Master of Science in Integrative Molecular and Biological Sciences from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. For over 15 years, she has practiced emergency medicine, enjoying the challenging, fast-paced environment. She joined the UNTHSC’s faculty in 2019, where she enjoys teaching and training PA students in the behavioral sciences and clinical integration medicine. Her other areas of interest include clinical reasoning, simulation-based learning, and interprofessional education.

Description: Often the focus of innovation and improvement in the field of IPE targets the student and patient/community experience, overlooking the enabling or inhibiting factors of the faculty and preceptors charged with building said cultures for interprofessional education and/or interprofessional collaborative practice.
