Ceasia Brown is a first-year Doctor of Occupational Therapy student at the Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Science. Ceasia has a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in Biological Sciences. During her time there she was a research assistant in a research study with The University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Hospital that analyzed radiographic findings of hip labral tears and associated outcomes. She has also worked as a direct support professional for Bancroft NeuroHealth for 4 years which has sparked her interest in rehabilitation. Currently, Ceasia is a research assistant for the Jefferson Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education.

Background: Interprofessional palliative care programs increase healthcare learners’ self-efficacy in their knowledge and skills in palliative care, end-of-life care, and interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP).
