Angela L. Goodhart, PharmD, BCACP, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Family Medicine, and practices as an ambulatory care pharmacy specialist. Dr. Goodhart studied chemistry at Bowling Green State University and obtained her PharmD from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital and PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at Summa Health System. Dr. Goodhart also serves as the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program Director for the WVU School of Pharmacy and is actviely engaged in teaching pharmacy and medical learners within the Department of Family Medicine.

One aim of Healthy People 2030 is to reduce unintended pregnancies and increase family planning. Improving access to contraceptives and providing appropriate education on how to use contraceptive devices are crucial to this.
